Privacy policy

This policy explains what information VideoAii (“we”, “us”) handles when you use videoaii.com (the “site”), why, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to write it plainly. If anything is unclear, contact us.

The short version

• You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your name to use the tools.
• Your prompts and uploads are used only to create your result. Uploads are deleted when the job ends; results are deleted after 24 hours.
• We show ads from Google, which use cookies. You can control ad personalisation.
• We never sell your personal information.

Information we handle

Things you give us

• Prompts, photos and video clips you submit to a tool. These are used to generate your result.
• Messages you send through the contact form: your name, email address and message.

Things collected automatically

• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of your visit, collected in server logs and by analytics.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used to apply hourly usage limits and to stop abuse. We can’t turn it back into your IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies, described in our cookie policy.
• Your recent creations, saved characters and reel drafts are stored only in your own browser (local storage). We don’t receive them.
• Reels Maker files: your own clips, photos and music added to a reel are combined inside your browser and are never uploaded to us. Only scenes you ask us to generate with AI are sent for rendering.

How we use information

• To run the tools and deliver your results.
• To keep the service fair and secure: rate limits, spam and abuse prevention, and enforcing our content policy.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (aggregated analytics).
• To show advertising that pays for the service.
• To reply when you contact us.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing the service you ask for, our legitimate interests in running a secure and useful site, and your consent where required (for example, for personalised ads in some regions).

Processing of uploads and prompts

To generate media, your prompt and any uploaded file are sent to third-party cloud AI infrastructure that runs the models on GPUs. These providers process the content only to produce your result. Some of them are located outside your country, including in the United States. We don’t use your uploads to train models, and we don’t publish your results. Uploaded files are deleted from our server when the job finishes, and generated files are deleted after 24 hours.

Please don’t upload images of other people without their permission, or anything containing sensitive personal information.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before personalised ads or analytics cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in that message.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure visits and how pages perform. It collects information such as pages viewed and approximate location, and uses cookies. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How long we keep information

• Uploaded photos and clips: deleted when your render finishes.
• Generated images and videos: 24 hours.
• Rate-limit records: about two hours.
• Server and error logs: up to 30 days.
• Contact messages: as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 24 months.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, AI rendering, email, advertising and analytics), when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA — you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Because we don’t use accounts, we may need details such as the date and time of your visit to find your data. Write to [email protected].

Children

VideoAii is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS, limit access to our servers, and delete files on a short schedule. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we handle.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
