Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in plain language, what information VideoAii handles and how we treat it.
On this page
1. Overview
VideoAii ("we", "us", "the site") provides free, browser-based AI video tools at https://videoaii.com. We have built the site to need as little personal information as possible. You do not create an account to use VideoAii, and we do not ask you to.
By using the site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use VideoAii.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the site and respond to you:
Information you give us
- Contact form details. If you message us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
- Server and usage logs. Like most websites, our hosting records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This helps keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See the cookies section below and our Cookie Policy.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect more than is described here.
3. The AI tools and third-party processing
This is the most important section to understand. The AI tools on our Tools page are open-source models hosted by Hugging Face and shown on our site within an embedded frame.
- When you upload an image to a tool, that image is sent to and processed by the third-party host (Hugging Face) in order to generate your result.
- VideoAii itself does not receive, store or keep a copy of the images you upload or the videos and models you generate.
- The handling of any data inside an embedded tool is governed by the privacy practices of Hugging Face and the model author, not by this policy. We recommend reviewing Hugging Face's own privacy terms before uploading anything sensitive or confidential.
As a simple rule: treat anything you upload to an AI tool as something processed by an external service, and avoid uploading private or confidential material.
4. How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain and secure the website;
- Respond to messages you send us;
- Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it;
- Display advertising that helps keep VideoAii free;
- Detect and prevent abuse, spam or technical problems.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and advertising
VideoAii uses a small number of cookies. Some are essential — for example, a session cookie that protects the contact form against misuse. Others may be set by analytics or advertising partners.
To keep the site free, VideoAii may display advertising. Advertising partners and their networks may use cookies or similar technologies to measure and personalise the ads you see. These partners operate under their own privacy policies. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy, which also explains how to control cookies in your browser.
6. Data retention
- Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up.
- Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then routinely discarded.
- Uploaded images and generated results are not stored by VideoAii at all.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
- Ask us to delete information we hold about you;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time;
- Opt out of personalised advertising through your browser or the partner's own controls.
Because VideoAii holds so little personal information and has no user accounts, in most cases there is very little data tied to you. To make a request, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
8. Children's privacy
VideoAii is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we apply reasonable measures to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site evolves or as the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page. Continuing to use VideoAii after an update means you accept the revised policy.
